Even though it has been a while since the NYU 185th Commencement Exercise at Yankee Stadium, it is a day for all of us, the NYU CIMS 2015 Fall students, that worth cherishing. I spent two wonderful years at CIMS and NYC studying computer science. This is the very first time in my life learning computer science in general. This is the first time I started an internship at a software giant. This is the first time I lived by myself at the big apple city. And dammit, if it wasn’t the best two years of my life.
Because if any one of those things hadn’t happened, I never would have ended up in what turned out to be the best job I ever had. But more importantly, I wouldn’t have end up with Clara. Because, as you know, she was in the department across the Cummington Mall. Of course that legendary story is only just beginning.
I know that somebody out there right now in this class just might occupy the White House one day. And let me be clear, not red and not blue, but maybe purple like NYU.
